Work Experience

Focused on the management and finance side of IT early on in his career. As a Service Manager, Ad Interim CIO and IT finance specialist he complemented his skills and experience to become a broadly experienced managing IT professional.
Later on as both a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and (Cardiff accredited) Lean Leader he has moved IT specialists and management teams to focus on the output of IT, being business value, and the expense at which that output is produced.
He has participated and lead assignments that focus on the justification and improvement of Spend to Value ratio’s within Technical (IT) environments. Next to that, and although not a particular advocate to benchmarking, he has lead various engagements that compare IT spend patterns with client peer IT spend patterns.
In earlier roles he has worked in South Africa, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Czech, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Belgium, Finland and Italy.
