I have nearly forty years experience in the reinsurance and insurance industries in the London Market, in the Gulf States, in Saudi Arabia and in Europe. From 1984 to 1996, I held General Management, CEO and Board of Director posts at Norwich Union Group in the Middle East and Belgium, at Oman National Insurance in Muscat and at Arig Insurance Company in London. Previously I spent sixteen years with the Mercantile and General Reinsurance Company Ltd and Norwich Winterthur Reinsurance Corporation. I am currently running my own insurance and reinsurance management consultancy business

"Ordinary Level" GCSE 1959 - Mathematics, English Language, English Literature, French, Latin, General Science, Geography, History.
"Advanced Level" 1961 - French, Geography, English.
Batchelor of Arts 2nd Class - Durham University England 1966.

Skills

I am technically skilled in all forms of general branch insurance and reinsurance. I have in depth skills in strategic/ change management and business planning. I have excellent interpersonal and staff management skills in a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds. I am familiar with all of the major brokers and companies, including Lloyd's in the London insurance market. I am now an experienced consultant.
