Patriate’s initial aim was to provide Professional Technical Expertise around the SCM Product ClearCase. Since inception Patriate has grown to provide Products in addition to the traditional services offerings of training and consultancy.

I have worked closely with a number of alliance partners to assist in the sales and deployment of multi product solutions, these include vendors: MatrixOne, Siebel, and also EDS, CSC and Accenture.

With sole responsibility for sales and Business Development I have won and retained a customer portfolio including Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola, Marconi, Lucent, Tellabs, Siemens, Barclays, HSBC, Oracle, EDS, CSC, AXA, and Accenture. Annual sales currently exceed 5million with operational staff in UK, Ireland, Sweden and Australia.


My responsibilities at Patriate have included:

· To build and develop relationships with customers and prospective customers
· To build and develop relationships with third parties organisations to enhance the enterprise solutions offered
· To grow and secure revenues in line with the business plan and stated objectives
· To ensure client satisfaction and quality
· To co-ordinate and maintain the activities of all personnel in the client
· To produce and maintain a client plan and strategy including the creation and delivery of ROI, and Proof of Concept Documents
· To penetrate and secure vertical markets as required
· To develop and secure customers throughout Europe

Originally employed to Account Manager Atria’s Financial Services Customer base. I also became responsible for the Development of new SCM users throughout the UK generating in excess of $3million turnover per annum. Advancing to Sector Manager for New Business in the UK, responsible for the creation and management of a Business strategy for the successful sales of Rational Products via a team of nine.

Employed to initiate new business in the North of England. Working closely with a number of other Software vendors including CA, DG and Oracle.

Initially recruited to promote new business in the Midlands for a fledgling SUN/Oracle reseller. I became General Manager for the South East Office. Later setting up the Midlands office based in Warwick. Annual revenue for both offices exceeding £5million with responsibility for 15 staff. Radan success being partially based upon the close working relationship generate with both Sun and Oracle.

Management Consultant/Corporate Account Manager
Recruited as Business management Consultant assisting Manro’s senior staff in Business Process projects. Primarily work included the adaptation of manual systems to computer based solutions in a traditional System Analyst manner. Success of this work resulted in Manro creating a subsidiary company, Manro Computer Services, of which I became Managing Director. Manro Computer Services became Compaq, IBM, Oracle, Sybase and Sun resellers
