Tasks: Responsible for the solutions cycle by assessing and spotting business opportunities, translating these opportunities into products and/or solutions, sales support, pre-sales, tenderising, initiating the development (including all the documentation), partnering with third parties, qualifying these potential partners, monitoring the development and insuring the first roll out at the first customer. Studying the feasibility at the customers and strategic positioning of a Total Messaging Solution at several global telecom players.
Involved areas: M-payment (Banking services), Mobile Messaging and Internet products (Prepaid top-up product, Messaging Broker (Content Management), Service Delivery Platforms and Call Alert Services.
Performance: Realising business of 5 Million Euro. Tendering of about 5 Million Euro. Initiating, developing, selling, and business managing the Messaging Broker version 1.0. Initiating and business developing the Call Alert Services. Managing two feasibility solutions request for customers.

Product manager (April 2001 - November 2001)
Tasks: Spotting business opportunities, especially in cooperation with sales. Initiating professional services products in cooperation with the core products of WDS. Writing business cases and developing these potential services.

Tasks: Responsible for the entry process of translating an idea of a productmanager into ‘repeatable business’, so ensuring that the organisation is trained and fully equipped for mass production.
Performance: Business realised of about 3 Million Euro. Successfully establishing the System Integration of the Mobile E-mail Product release 4.3. Successfully initiating a system integration of the SMSC backup-restore Product release 1.0.

Enertel / Energis Telecom in Rotterdam (NL), November 98 - June 2000
Senior Project Manager (November 1999 - June 2000)
Performance: Successfully implementing a project (the Intelligent Network Platform) that covered the business and operational readiness of the entire Enertel organisation (operations, engineering, customer support, IT, sales and marketing). Project details: costs 5.5 Million Euro, 5 project leaders, 20 project members, 2 suppliers and 2 suppliers project leaders.
1 Implementation Intelligent Network (IN) platform + Business Readiness of IN:
IN enables Enertel to implement comprehensive services in the Market. IN project has impact on all the departments involved within Enertel. The projectteam exist of five internal projectleaders, 20 project members, three suppliers, two external project leaders. Project budget: Hfl 11.000.000.
1.1 IN - IT sub project: Implementation of IN has huge impact to the IT department. In this project deliverables: new release implementation: billing system, number portability system, mediation system and our Data Ware House system.
1.2 IN - Business Readiness Project sub project: preparation of the new product since almost two years. Adaptation of the existing processes, creation of new processes, training all the involved departments, motivation of the entire company, promotion by different campaigns, pricing and marketing,
1.3 IN - Network Management Operations sub project: implementing the monitoring systems, operational and maintenance procedures.
1.4 IN - Marketing sub project: preparing the IN for the Commercial Launch
1.5 IN - Customers sales realization: preparing the customer sales realization for handling the provisioning, answering customer, complaint handling and tracking the problems.

Performance: Successfully implementing the following 7 projects: Node Commander Upgrade, Capacity Expanding together with Cable&Wireless (London), Upgrade Telephone Switch Centrals Software (UTCS), Migration and Upgrade Interconnect Operator Billing Platform, Data Ware House, Interconnect Agreements together with Telecom Slovenia. Project details UTCS: 1Million Euro, 3 project leaders, 2 suppliers and 3 involved departments
The project, which I have managed:
1 Node commander upgrade. Node commander is a monitoring system of our Switches and enables Enertel to monitor the traffic.
2 Expanding the Capacity with Cable en Wireless: Realizing a capacity upgrade between C&W and Enertel
3 V12 Software Siemens Switch release upgrade: This project was the most critical project within Enertel. V12 release solves the Y2K issue on Enertel switches. Project costs: Hfl 2.000.000.
