Oversaw and steered the setting up and its first transaction to minimize risks. Focused on triggering customers, managing the expenses of the company in its early stage, and supported the venture in its relationship with the bank. Fun Industries is a commercial concern involved in the design, production and distribution of fun, low-value products for the consumer and business market.
-Securing Financing, Erasmus University Venture Services
Acquired financing for a total of NLG 2.0M for all ventures served altogether. Initiated relationships with funds to fund and steer the emerging ventures. Generated extra revenue for Erasmus University for the equivalent of 15% of the yearly budget.

CASATEYPUNTO, Founder and CEO, PeruJumpstarted new venture targeting Spanish-speaking weddings during the post-hype period in an adverse environment for emerging ventures. US$ 400K in capital raised, 17 people employed, now profitable. Founded venture and brought-in team and key stakeholders. Developed proof-of-concept in a traditional and risk-averse business environment. Raised capital during a cash-crunch period. Business development reached Mexico, Chile and Spain. Closed strategic cooperation agreements, including merger with party of higher capitalization. Led core members of team through rough and uncertain times. Developed “low burn rate” management strategy, kept expected results. Made critical “go & no-go” decisions and led the small concern forward until relative stability. A larger player, through an equity deal, bought the company in 2001.
