Main activities:

- Pan European sales and business development of highly secure ASP soft- and hardware (IP, fixed, wireless and xDSL) platforms for Governments, Financial Institutions, the Education sector and the private sector.

- Developing international business partner programs for the telecom, software and data centre industry in Europe, China and Middle-East (e.g. telecom: IP, Wireless, xDSL, fixed) & power networks, (broadband) applications and services, legal).

- Consulting on telecommunication (wireless, fixed) & power infrastructure development issues for Governments and businesses throughout Europe.

- Implementing (secure) Telco/Internet & power infrastructure and services (Interconnection and sofware solutions like ASP).

- Conducting viability studies for data centres.

- Setting up Telecom Exchanges (infrastructure, software and content services).

- Conducting infrastructure (telecoms & power) studies for European Governments and businesses.

- Development of the sales team.

- Fully P/L responsible.

Manager Carrier Services Business Unit

Responsibilities:

- Setting up this separate Business Unit (Pan European focus).

- Sales of telecom network (IP,fixed, mobile) and cable (broadband) solutions.

- Sales of network capacity to telcos (fixed & mobile), ISPs & ASPs Governmental and Education sector.

- Interconnection and number portability issues.

- Co-location for third parties.

- Business Development/Strategy/Network roll-out - Strategic alliances.

April 1995 - February 1998 > GN Comtext (Great Nordic) Plc London

Manager Benelux

Responsibilities:

- Setting up branch offices in The Benelux.

- All sales of GN’s telecom/Internet services and software in The Benelux, managing three offices from Amsterdam (Amsterdam, Antwerp and Luxembourg).

- Fully P/L responsible.

- Development of the international sales team.

- Business Development (on a global basis).

Involved in setting up the Worldcom Sales organisation in The Netherlands and Belgium.
