Turn-around Management, Marketing & Sales Strategy Development, Projects on Re-Organization and Restructuring
- optimized credit and debit management for medium sized manufacturer for special vehicles (30MEU T/O, 150 employees)
- developed and executed market entry strategy for Brasilian Manufacturer of Special Glass (selling to German Automotive Industry)
- Turn around management and restructuring of mid-sized manufacturer of roller blinds (8MEU T/O, 60 employees)


• 2001 - 2003: Managing Director Armoring Division (CEO) for a group of companies previously acquired by an Italian Automotive Supplier
- Integrated and restructured acquired armoring companies. Consolidated activities and concentrated manufacturing to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
- Desinvested non-OEM-activities of the division.
- Acquired series contracts from OEM with total value of EUR 23 mil. Established partnership to major OEM division.


• 1997 - 2000: Managing Director Finance & Sales (CFO) at a manufacturer for special vehicles and protection systems (22mil turnover, 200 employees)
- Developed and implemented new strategical approach to transfer the company’s position from an after market car modifier to a partner for the automotive industry (Major customers: VW, GM/Opel/Vauxhall, Audi, Nissan, Toyota).
- Accomplished quality certification according to ISO 9000 and VdA 6.1.
- Set up distributors and partners network for the business in more than 15 countries, including own show-rooms and offices in Mexico-City, Manila, Moscow and Abu Dhabi. Relevant customers are Sultanate of Oman, UAE, United Nations, European Union, Philippines, Russia.
- Defined, supervised, secured financing and managed the investment of EUR 16 mln. into state-of-the art factory for armored vehicles in 1999.
- Opened and managed own subsidiary in Colombia (Bogotà and Cali).


• 1993 - 1996: Director Marketing / Investor Relations at Economic Development Corp. German Federal State,
- Developed and implemented marketing strategies to identify and contact investors from Germany and abroad
- Selected, contracted and supervised sales-offices in Europe (4), Asia (5) and the US (1).
- Supported medium-sized and small enterprises with their investment projects as well as multinational corporations. Reviewed and modified investment plans, secured overall financing of the projects. Focussed especially on public subsidies and taxation questions.
- Acquired a total of EUR 500 mln. in investment volume for the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

• 1992 - 1993: Investment and Project Controller at leading Aircraft-Manufacturer
- Analyzed and evaluated investment programs such as acquisition and sales of holdings in companies, development of new aircraft programs, make or buy decisions etc.
- Reviewed cost, market and revenue forecasts including exchange rate issues.
- Compiled business plans, cash-flow forecasts, generated sensitivity calculations and risk analyses.
