Operations Project Manager January 2001 – February 2003-08-29

Project Scope: To define and develop best operational practices in current kitchen operation to increase efficiency and ergonomics.
· Successfully designed, developed and improved equipment and procedures that led to increased kitchen efficiency.
· Implemented equipment and procedures successfully in six pilot shops by leading a cross-functional team of ten.
· Presented key information at quarterly Board meetings resulting in full financial and resource support.
· Managed Project to budget of £80k and within agreed one-year timescale.
· Developed “model” shop for future New Store Openings.
Project Scope: To increase customer spending by introducing soup in all UK stores.
· Designed and developed soup equipment with external supplier to meet operational requirements.
· Implemented the successful launch across 100 stores by leading a cross-functional team of six.
· Final soup sales exceeded target by 40%.
· Managed project to budget and within agreed timescale.
Project Scope: To ensure that the company’s culture was represented in all company events.
· Successfully implemented style and content of quarterly company brief to 350 managers, AGM/shareholders events, Head Office Teambuilding and biannual company-wide employee events for 2500 people.

· Managed two flagship stores, Tower of London and High St Kensington to exceed sales and profit targets.

· In conjunction with company Founder created the basis of company’s training strategy and training material across all of the company’s sixteen shops.
· Devised and ran training programmes at all levels.
