CARLSON WAGONLIT TRAVEL – Finance Director Benelux (Benelux)
Engaged as Financial Director for Belgium and Luxemburg, I was quickly promoted Financial Director for the Benelux countries (turnover 740 millions EUR). Management of the Belgo-Luxemburg and Dutch financial departments (60 people) as well as general services in Belgium. President of the work council of Wagonlit Travel International Network.
I Increase the level of the Belgian financial department and install common procedures to the Benelux countries.

HEINEKEN NEDERLANDS BEHEER B.V. - Reversed engin. (The Netherlands)
Responsible for a project of financial reorganisation in order to improve the legibility and the reliability of financial information. This reorganisation of work required a creative, opened and convincing spirit.

HEINEKEN – Financial Director (Rwanda - Burundi)
Financial Director in Rwanda and then in Burundi for the Breweries and Soft drinks of Burundi (Brarudi) as well as for Cap Manufacturing Company (Capco) and Burundi Plastic Industries (BPI). Management of the financial direction services (55 people). Installation of a logistics department, reorganisation of the human resources department, creation of a controllers department, installation of an effective follow-up of the treasury, good performances on the level of cost reductions (cost leadership programme).

K.P.M.G.-Zaire – Managing Director (Zaire)
As a manager and legal representative of this audit firm and, for this reason, coordinator of audit missions and reorganisation studies. During this period many missions of financial reorganisation on behalf of the Heineken Group in Congo Brazzaville, Congo (Zaire), Rwanda and Burundi. Politically very tensed period (plundering, etc...) what required a great adaptation capacity for the survival of the audit firm.

K.P.M.G. Belgium - Associate-collaborator (Belgium)
Management of various audit teams as well in Belgium as abroad and typically revisor\'s missions such as contributions in kind, mergers and valuations, etc...

B.B.K.S. & Co - Auditor (Belgium)
Participation in many missions in trade & industrial firms, brewery, banks and insurances. This period was very rich on the training level. Person in charge for an important mission of cost control for a huge building site of the Ministry of Public Works.

CADY S.A. – Managing Director (Belgium)
Management of a small manufacture of furniture in kit. Opening of a store, participation in fairs, etc...

CURRENT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (INTERIM MANAGEMENT)

- August 15 till September 25 2000: Replacement of the Managing Director of a furniture firm (29 people). The purpose of the mission was:
o To deal with the daily management
o To establish a company photography at the end of July
o To propose a reorganisation and action plan within the rescue framework of this company.

The mission proceeded with the whole satisfaction of all the parts.

- September 29 2000 till April 30 2001: Finance and Administrative Director in a huge car dealer. The purpose of the mission was:
o The installation of a reliable organisation as well from the accounting department point of view as procedural
o The reorganisation of the existing personnel in order to make a profitable subsidiary company of it.

The financial and administrative departments are now reorganized. They provide actually reliable and in time financial information.

- May 2 till October 31 2001: Corporate Finance Manager in a Brussels and Oslo quoted Telecom firm. The objectives of the mission where:
o Implementing a new monthly reporting system (COGNOS-balanced scorecard methodology)
o Implementing a new budget and cash reporting
o Write IAS accounting rules and guidelines for the all Group.

The second stage of the mission was to support the Corporate Finance Officer in diverse tasks.
The objectives are completely achieved and my successor is now in place for further action.
