Work Experience

* CarsOnTheWeb: Marketing & Communications Manager. This assignment had two objectives: leading the Marketing department (SEO optimalisation, SEA campaigns, Google Analytics analysis, email campaigns, website management, customer survey ...) and developing a strategic marketing plan. The assignment was broadened to coach the management team in their update of the company strategy and the strategic initiatives for 2010.

* ASR Nederland: Project manager of the Time Driven ABC costing project within the business line Accidents (600 people). Participated in the interviews and modelling. Managed a team of 7 data analysts building the model input data. Worked with the management team to develop the business cases demonstrating profitability improvement opportunities.

* ArcelorMittal: Project manager of the internal costing & profitability project ‘Crystal’. General management of this major project (80 persons) with bi-monthly steering committee reviews. Managing the team of experts at the Luxemburg headquarters. Close collaboration and management of the ‘Crystal’ development teams of Arcelor Systems. Managing the concurrent deployment of this application in the European region (10 sites).

* Le Forem: Project manager for a management reporting system concerning the efficiency of the employment programs of the Wallonian Government. In close collaboration with the internal analysts, reporting and analysis requirements were defined, the data warehouse adapted, data quality measured and the reporting deployed in the internal portal.

* Orange Group: Business Intelligence Consultant modelling and calculation of the cost and contribution figures for the consumer segment of the European market for Orange. The model was based on actual calling behaviour and use of data and other services. Close collaboration with Marketing Orange Group to make optimal use of this profitability information.

* Sterigenics: Business Intelligence Consultant Design, construction and deployment of a budget and forecast system, conjointly used by Finance and Sales. Main focus was to establish a reliable process of gathering expected sales in the EMEA region and therefore capacity utilisation for the coming quarters and years.

Skills

• management and consulting expertise in e-business and marketing: e-business (website audits & redesign, marketing strategy definition, SEO & SEA strategies, mail campaign management), CRM (contact centre management, database marketing, service management), Customer Analytics (profitability, campaign management), Management Accounting (costing, balanced scorecard)
• broad experience in project management within multinational and small companies – large as well as small teams, various nationalities, managing experts and heterogeneous groups
• practical experience working with groups and coaching them through change, building consensus, cultural change

ICT skills: Experience in leading ICT implementations (mainly CRM). Concepts and hands-on experience deploying relational and multi-dimensional databases (for data analysis applications). Experienced with Microsoft products and various other technologies: internet (social media, web 2.0 ...), business reporting (Express Oracle, Business Objects, Cognos) and statistical software (SAS, SPSS).

Languages

Very good knowledge of English and French
Dutch is mother tongue
